Krista Quenneville
I offer group lessons at my studio in Stittsville where we sing, move, laugh, play rhythm instruments, compose, and explore theory while learning to play the piano!
I began performing for the seniors at my church at the age of three, accompanied by my godmother.  I was given many opportunities to sing in choirs and perform solos throughout my childhood and teen years.  My parents surprised me at the age of eleven with the gift of a guitar, and an elementary school teacher joked that while he had once accompanied me on guitar, I  no longer needed his help.  I played piano throughout my high school years.

I studied voice with Mary Morrison and Martin Chambers at the University of Western Ontario, earning a Bachelor of Music degree Honours Performance and a Bachelor of Education degree.

I sang in many choirs and have explored musical theatre.

I have taught both privately and in the school system, and was encouraged to take teacher training when my son studied Music for Young Children with its creator, Frances Balodis.  I am thrilled to begin my 21st year of introducing Music for Young Children® to the families of Stittsville and Kanata.   It is a joy and a privilege to teach MYC!

I want to hear from you!
